As new Course Director Marie is currently working on the development of the Certificate for Music Educators or CME at the Elgar School of Music in connection with Trinity College London, and Worcester University.
The CME is a new qualification for music educators working with children and young people in the UK. It is designed to enable music educators to gain recognitions for their work while benefiting from opportunities to develop their practice.
The course is a 6 unit flexible diploma which allows music educators to gain a level 4 qualification. Prior experience can be taken into account which makes this a very attractive option for teachers wishing to advance their skills in the profession.
