Worcester Huntingdon Hall

Worcester Huntingdon Hall, English Symphony Orchestra – Facade. Friday 26th August Venue Website

The ESO players make their debut at the Worcester Festival with a performance of Façade, an eccentric collaboration between Edith Sitwell and her protégé, William Walton. Façade consists of 21 Sitwell poems set to amusingly appropriate music, much of which will be instantly recognisable. Sitwell’s poems will be masterfully bought to life by comedians and festival favorites Ben Humphrey & Simon Renshaw who have recently fnished the recording of their highly anticipated radio pilot. Façade will form the centrepiece of the concert to showcase the talents of the individual performers within the concert
